A Model Prayer for Kids

A while ago, I was thinking about The Model Prayer and came up with a simpler model for my kids. It's actually based on another model I learned as a teenager, which used the acrostic P.R.A.Y. (Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield).

My version for kids goes like this:

God you are great because __________.

God please forgive me __________.

God please give me __________.

In Jesus' name, amen.

We often cut the "me" off the third line and replaces it with a request for someone else. For example, "God please give healing to our friend ..."
